Become An ACDP Career Partner
Virtual Shadowing:
Virtual shadowing will be provided through a video hosted on the ACDP Online site. Each partner will offer a video-based shadowing opportunity by providing information on how to get into this field and more about the professional’s day to day work routine. These videos will be featured, throughout the school year, on the ACDP Online platform.
Internships:
Partners may choose to offer internships (either paid or unpaid) during the spring semester for students in the program. Each participating business will decide on the duration of the internship and the number of student interns they will host. Once this is determined, we will publicize the opportunity to students for application.
Job Openings:
Career partners will have the opportunity to share job openings with ACDP and collaborate with us to determine candidate fit based on assessment results and student interest. ACDP will recommend students, and the businesses will manage all applications and interviews.
We are seeking businesses, industries, organizations, and academic institutions in the River Region to become ACDP Career Partners. We ask that every career partner record a video to serve in our Virtual Shadowing Series.
For businesses, a career partner will share more about their related career, through in-person or virtual opportunities, and have the option to offer shadowing and/or internships for participating students in the spring of 2026 If partners are looking to interview and hire students for possible employment, we will work with you to find qualified students who may be a good fit, based on our career assessment results .
For academic institutions, becoming a career partner will allow us to refer students to you for educational training to prepare them for a career.
